After a busy day exploring our region, time to relax on board Cairn’s only fully owned and operated Indigenous sunset cruise experience. Our Mandingalbay Yidinji guides will share ancient stories and welcome you to East Trinity Reserve, an extremely important and rare Indigenous Protected Area (IPA). Enjoy a slow cruise across the Cairns Harbor and into a mangrove forest lined river system, while keeping an eye out for birdlife and crocodiles.
Arrive at our Yulu welcome shelter set amongst the mangrove and surrounded by wetlands and tropical forests. Yulu means Stingray in our language. Our guides will welcome you to Country, a tradition which stretches back through countess generations – an action which creates a safe space in which knowledge and culture can be shared with our guests, and our guests can ask questions about our traditional and contemporary lives.
There are toilets here for your convenience.
Join our knowledge circle with guides sharing cultural stories of resilience and survival through hand crafted implements, weapons and artifacts. This is hands on and alot of fun.
While you are learning about Mandingalbay Yidinji culture, enjoy freshly prepared and locally sourced canapes and non-alcoholic refreshments.
Corporate, Government and Business events groups are welcome and private charters for groups of up to 40 guests are available.

Rejoin your guides on board our vessel, cruise back along the river, spotlighting for crocodiles with their red eyes glowing from the banks. As we turn the corner back into the harbor, the city of lights of Cairns will suddenly come into view – a stark contrast to the natural and seemingly far removed environment that you have just visited.
Arrive back to Cairns Marina, right in the heart of the CBD at 7.30pm and its time for dinner.
